This piece started out as a classic ‘cocktail watch’ from the 1960’s- the type with a heavy gold case, fancy diamond accents, an impossible-to-read tiny dial and finicky windup mechanism. We these watches when they are inherited and our clients don’t know what to do with them. We think it’s better to recycle an item than scrap it, so we convinced this client to use the bezel of the watch as a setting for this incredible multi-chromatic Opal. Now the client has a dressy bracelet set with their favorite gem- crystal Opal- and she is happy to wear her previously ignored heirloom.
Details: 14k yellow gold bracelet with 6.98ct oval Ethiopian crystal Opal and 2.00cttw diamond accents.
