Afghan Green Tourmaline & Diamond Engagement Ring

This beautiful engagement ring is centered with a natural Green Tourmaline in an unusual “pillow cut.” This green Tourmaline is an intense spectral green with just a hint of blue- perfect as an Emerald alternative or for a client who loves the color green. The gem was sourced from Afghanistan which produces incredibly brilliant Tourmalines, and this is a prime example which was then cut by renowned lapidary Clay Zava. We set this gem in a more traditional two tone gold ring mounting: the baguette Diamonds play up the angularity of the Tourmaline, the yellow gold shank gives the ring richness, and the white gold double prongs give the ring durability.
