Two stone rings can be hit and miss from a design standpoint. Often times having two stones means that the ring has two points of focus, which can be visually distracting. However, when the stones are in proportion to each other and their color is complimentary the overall effect can be pleasing. Thus when we took this ring in trade from a client we chose to replace it’s stones (which were two different colors) with rich fuchsia colored Rubellite Tourmalines from Nigeria.
