This fabulous Art Deco mounting came to us missing the center stone, so we chose this stunning Black Opal as a period-correct replacement to complete the ring. The Opal features a kaleidoscope of peacock blue and green hues that shimmer across the surface of the gem. The Opal sits east to west in the filigree mounting, which is embellished with flowers and vines that give the piece an organic feel. The last photo shows this Opal when it is at its most impressive: in direct day-light. This would make a great right hand ring or Opal engagement ring for that special Opal lover.
