Finding intensely colored golden Chrysoberyl has become a bit of an obsession for us. Most “neon Chrysoberyl” has a green secondary color which, while unique, can be off-putting to some clients. Additionally, gems in this pure golden yellow hue are a dead ringer for natural canary yellow Diamonds, especially those with a subtle hint of orange. Chrysoberyl is the perfect gem for someone who loves yellow: they are totally natural, very brilliant, and at a fraction of the cost of comparable Diamonds or Sapphires. We set this particular gem in a classic Diamond accented mounting, similar to a 3-stone ring, which uses substantial pear shaped Diamonds to gracefully accent the center gem.
Details: 14k white gold ring with 2.83ct oval Chrysoberyl from India and .72ctw Diamond Accents; the pears are .30ct each (SI HI).
