Ethiopian Harlequin Opal Pendant in Rose & White Gold

This Opal pendant features one of the most beautiful Ethiopian Welo Opals that we have ever seen! While the color pattern descriptor ‘harlequin’ is oft over used, it certainly applies here: the gem is alive with holographic square and rectangle prisms of color, starting red, fading to orange, yellow, and green. In some lighting, hints of violet trail off, making every color of the rainbow present in this gem. Not only does this Opal feature every color of the rainbow in the rarest color pattern but it has an amazing brightness too, where the colors seem to jump out at the viewer. The base color of the Opal is a medium gold color which looks rich set against the rose gold backdrop; we have tried to show it in a variety of lighting. This pendant measures 1.5 inches top to bottom and is sure to make a statement on the neckline, the perfect gift or October birthday surprise.
