This pendant (affectionately known as “The Carrot”) came to us via a Southern Californian estate where the gem was mined and this custom pendant was made. Some of the best Watermelon Tourmaline comes from the Pala and Stewart mines in San Diego County, CA where they have been mined for the last 100 years. Top specimens show a rich green, fading to a lighter green or colorless, then to a deep pink or red color- just like this one!
