This amazing Sapphire and Diamond cocktail ring is fit for a queen! The ring was designed by a local hobbyist jeweler in the 1970’s, never worn, so we were thrilled when it recently made it into our collection. The large Sapphire is imbued with an unusual Denim-Blue hue that looks more blue or more teal depending on the angle- even more unusual is that the Sapphire is totally natural and untreated. The mounting is a play on a halo design, where the halo is interrupted on either side by three baguette diamonds pointing toward the shank of the ring. Despite the large look, the ring sits low on the hand and could easily be an everyday engagement or right-hand ring.
