Ornate brooches were trendy items in the 1920’s but are a little less popular today, so we like to make them more versatile by converting them such that they can be worn either as a brooch or pendant. This particular piece is spectacular as a pendant, measuring 1 1/2 inches long and embellished with lacy filigree work and old European Cut diamonds. The central marquise shape is outlined with synthetic sapphires which were calibre cut to fit together seamlessly to mimic the navette shape, and provide a nice blue flash to the piece.
