This Opal is an Australian Boulder Opal Doublet, featuring a layer of natural Opal backed with ironstone for more stability. The benefit to this Opal doublet is that it saved what was clearly a thin but amazing piece of Opal, making it more wearable. The Opal has huge flashes of color in a broadflash and flagstone color pattern, alive with green, blue, gold, orange, and red from every angle.
