This amazing kite shaped Art Deco pendant likely started its life as a stickpin, but at some point was converted to this more-wearable pendant. The center piece is a natural blue Sapphire in a dark navy tone- not so dark as to appear black, but a deep blue gem that comes alive at certain angles. Surrounding the pear Sapphire is an intricate pattern of infinity symbols crafted in platinum wire and interspersed with old European cut Diamonds. The pendant measures 3/4 inch in length and, due to the finesse of the detail work, has a dainty yet sophisticated air.
Details: Platinum pendant with .50ct pear dark blue natural Sapphire (appearing larger due to shallow cut) and .12ct Euro cut Diamonds (SI GH), circa 1925.
