When looking at Sapphires, have you ever wondered what the term “cornflower blue” or “Ceylon blue” refers to? The classic Diamond-accented pendant is set with the ultimate Ceylon blue Sapphire in the classic cornflower blue shade: medium blue with great intensity. The gem, just over 1ct in size, was beautifully cut by one of our favorite Sri Lankan lapidaries, so it has that great combination of color and sparkle that we hope to see from fine Sapphires.
