Vintage Tiffany & Co Cornucopia Brooch with Flowers “en Tremblant”

This floral cornucopia brooch, the ultimate in lapel adornment, was crafted by renowned jeweler Tiffany & Co in the 1960s. Made in solid 18k yellow gold, the piece gleams with rich gold hue and oozes quality craftsmanship. The design features a cornucopia: a basket base, overflowing with daisies from the top. These aren’t your average daisies. Each flower is made from natural Sapphires, Emeralds, and Rubies and set with a Diamond center, and each flower is “en Tremblant.” This means that each flower is hinged, such that it dances and moves relative to the base of the brooch. Each piece of this brooch was hand made, hand set, and hand textured by the finest of Italian jewelers working for Tiffany, at a time when sculptural pieces like this were the ultimate status symbol. This one would look great on a hat or lapel, but would also look great worn on a chain as a pendant. Note- this is a sizable brooch, measuring just under 2 inches across.
