Sizable Art Deco Onyx, Pearl & Diamond Pendant

Onyx and Diamond jewelry was very fashionable in the late 1920’s and 1930’s at the tail end of the Art Deco period. Most of these items were smaller pieces of square or oval Onyx with small gold overlays or Diamonds set in the middle, which makes this pendant special. This piece measures an impressive 2 inches in length and is covered with an ornate white gold fitting which is further set with a Pearl and two fine Diamonds. We see the Art Deco influence in the stark black and white color scheme and the geometric shape. This is certainly one of the most impressive Onyx pieces we have ever had for sale!
