This show-stopping ring is set with an amazing natural Sapphire and over one carat of fine Diamonds in a quintessential 1950’s design. Rebelling against the conservatism of the war years and the Great Depression, designers in the late 1940’s and 1950’s designed some wild and over-the-top ebullient jewels. Set in the center of this circular ring is a 1ct round top-gem blue Sapphire from Sri Lanka. Surrounding it is an array of full-cut round Diamonds of high quality, all set by hand in a custom platinum mounting. The neutral surroundings make the neon blue color of this Sapphire pop and sparkle on the hand. This would have been one pricey and glitzy bauble; fortunately, tastes have changed, and what was wild in 1950 is relatively conservative today. We love this ring, and we are sure you will too!
