When most people think of pink Topaz they think of the dark pink gems seen in low-cost jewelry. While that color can be a bit garish and is artificially produced, this pastel pink is totally natural and beautiful. The gem in this ring is from a newer source in Pakistan which is producing pastel pink Topaz that is a dead ringer for Morganite or baby pink Sapphire. Topaz has the added benefit of being more brilliant and durable than Morganite, and more affordable than Sapphire! We set this in a classically styled semi-mount which uses large Diamond accents for sparkle, with a custom-cast “crown” prong setting to add visual interest to the ring. This would make a great engagement ring or a Topaz birthstone ring for a November baby.
