When clients see this set they often say “That can’t be Peridot” but it sure is! This is one of the rarer Peridot varieties sourced from Pakistan in the 1990’s. These Pakistani Peridot were unique in that they occurred without the yellow overtone so often seen in Peridot, and some even occurred in this coveted light bluish-green shade. These gems are quite scarce so we decided to mount them in custom white gold mountings which use filigree work and Diamonds to accent the center gems. These gems appear a bit darker than you see in these photos, but they are still incredibly bright and sparkly. These would be the perfect birthstone gift for an August baby that doesn’t like the traditional Peridot options.
