Product Description

This fabulous lavalier is a staff favorite. The large outer frame looks like a large gear, or a stylized flower, and gives the piece an edgy steampunk vibe, which echoes in its Edwardian origin. The necklace is hallmarked, made by WR Williams of London, circa 1910, in rose gold. It is set with two round natural Demantoid Garnets and a small halo of seed Pearl accents, which serve to enhance the overall design as opposed to starring in the show. Demantoid is the rarest green Garnet and was very popular around the turn of the century- this piece would have been at the height of fashion in Edwardian London. It measures 1.5 inches long, perfect for a statement piece worn high, or as a more subtle necklace worn low over a blouse or sweater. Lavalier collectors, Demantoid collectors, etc. delight in this fabulous antique pendant.

Details: antique 9k rose gold lavalier pendant set with .25ctw round Demantoid Garnets and seed Pearl accents, British, W Reed Williams, London, 1910.
