What this ring lacks in size it makes up for in character- it certainly has the cool factor. American made circa 1890-1900, the yellow gold ring is what is known in the trade as a half-hoop ring, which the top of the ring gem-set. It consists of a trio of oval Opals, interspersed with rose cut Diamond accents. The star of the show here are the Opals, which are top quality Australian crystal Opals which radiate with blue, green and violet hues as the ring catches the light. Against the gold backdrop, the colors are even richer, making a charming presentation on the hand. It could easily be worn on its own but we also see it stacking with other rings- it looks friendly to us.
