This ring started as a traditional Black Hills Gold ring set with Diamonds and Onyx, but after many years of wear it was looking a bit tired. Our client wanted to preserve the sentimental value of the piece, but give it a bit more pizzazz, so she chose this amazing Australian Opal as the centerpiece. The Opal is incredibly intense with a broad-flash pattern of emerald green over a dark blue base color. We were able to re-build the head to set the Opal, then refresh the rest of the ring to make it look like new.
