Product Description

This ring is a quintessential example of Art Nouveau design and a highly rare and unusual piece of jewelry art. The ring, likely American due to its 14k yellow gold base material, is crafted in a large dinner ring design with knuckle-to-knuckle coverage. As was popular at the time, the asymmetrical ring features floral engraving and vines that wend and wind their way amongst the gems of the ring. The center gem is a natural green Zircon from Sri Lanka, a country that produced many popular gems around the turn of the century. We love how the forest green hue plays into the organic theme of the ring. It is accented by a line of bezel set Old Mine Cut Diamonds which add sparkle and intrigue to the piece. While this ring has a substantial presence on the hand, it is finely made and light on the finger, and is very comfortable to wear.

Details: 14k yellow gold ring set with 2.07ct oval Green Zircon (untreated, Sri Lanka) and .50ctw Old Mine Cut Diamonds (SI2 IJK), circa 1900.
