Afghan Tourmalines set the bar for gem quality green and blue-green Tourmalines. While they are not as plentiful as African or Brazilian stones, the few stones we find tend to be cleaner and have intense color without getting too dark. In fact the color is so bright that they often rival the copper-bearing African Paraiba-type Tourmalines at a fraction of the price. While this particular stone is smaller, the top is checkerboard faceted which ads nice sparkle to the ring. The center stone is set flush with the diamond accents so that it can be worn without catching or snagging- the perfect way to enjoy this gem on a daily basis.
Details: 14k white gold ring with 1.10ct square cushion blue-green Tourmaline and .66ctw diamond accents.
