Vintage Bezel Set Opal & Diamond Pendant

This fabulous vintage pendant is designed around the impressive Opal center stone, and designed for everyday wear. The Australian Opal is known as a “black crystal Opal” since the gem is translucent with a dark body color. The play of color seen shimmering on the Opal’s surface forms a kaleidoscope of blue, green and violet hues. The Opal is bezel set and suspended from a Diamond-accented bail, which is hinged to allow the Opal to swing freely and catch the light, with a 1 inch drop. Despite featuring an Australian Opal this pendant was sourced from a German estate of mid-century jewels.
