Vintage Zodiac Triple Calendar & Moon Phase Wrist Watch

This unusual Zodiac wristwatch is one of the rarer vintage watches we have offered. Made in the 1960s, prior to electronic or quartz movements, this watch came at a time when the movement had to operate using mechanics alone. In this case, the movement is automatic- a weight spins as you wear the watch; this winds a spring and powers the watch. This would be impressive on its own, but is especially impressive when the watch is a working calendar and giving you the phases of the moon, too. Important for all those meteorologists and mariners out there who live by the tides! The watch is set using a pin and the small pushers on the side of the case. The gold plated case measures a solid 34mm across and looks very elegant on the wrist.
