Vintage Gents Ring with Round Violet Grey Spinel

This gents ring is a study in texture and color, perfect for a man of mystery. The setting is an original mid-century gents ring mounting, but it came to us without a center stone. We supplied the unusual natural Spinel you see here- difficult to give a color when the color is constantly changing. In warm light the gem has a grape violet hue; in cool light a steely grey look. No matter what the color, the Spinel is alive with a sparkle and fire that are quite captivating. We gave the sides of the ring a textured finish such that the bright lustre of the Spinel pops even more. This is a substantial ring and would look best on a man’s hand, as accessory or wedding ring.
