When this ring went into the case no one believed us when we said it was Tanzanite. This, we realized, was because most people are familiar with the light periwinkle purple gems that you see in malls and on cruise ships. We made this ring many years ago, and it recently found its way back into our inventory. We re-cut the gem to maximize sparkle and brilliance, then added some texture work to the white gold to make the rich blue-violet color pop. We were certainly glad to see this beauty a second time and we found it an adoring new home.
