Rose Cut Lavender Grey Spinel Engagement Ring

This fantastic Grey Spinel ring is a nod to the new and a nod to the old. Grey Spinels are a darling in the gem world – they are a rare subspecies of the Spinel family, and only recently have they gotten respect as a durable and color neutral gemstone. We faceted this one in a rose cut, which is an antiquated Diamond cut known for producing lots of flash and sparkle in lower light conditions. As we said- new meets old. We took this unusual Grey Spinel and set it in the classic three-stone setting with a simple Diamond accent on either side for some additional sparkle and visual interest. This Grey Spinel has a subtle lavender undertone, and they white diamonds help the eye see this hint of violet in the steely grey gem.
