At first glance this ring looks like a fine Emerald, but it is actually a natural Green Tourmaline with a deep bluish green color, and to further the illusion the gem is fashioned into an emerald cut shape. The entire ring plays off the geometry of this cut- it is set with square prongs, the shank is square, etc. Every surface of the white gold mounting is then pave’ set with small Diamond accents that add interest and sparkle to the mounting, and provide a neutral contrast to the rich green center Tourmaline. This modern ring was sourced from a local estate so we don’t know all of its history but we have it bargain priced for the lucky lover of green out there!
Details: 14k white gold ring with 1.40ct emerald cut Green Tourmaline and .32ct Diamond Accents (SI2 GH), circa 2000.
