Mid Century Mens Ring with Deep Blue Sapphire

This fantastic man’s ring is a vintage/custom hybrid where we took an original Mid-Century ring mounting and up-cycled it using one of our natural Sapphires. Originally this ring was set with a small Diamond in an illusion head, but we knew that we could make it pop. We removed the Diamond and modified the ring to hold a larger gem. We chose this natural Thai Sapphire in this deep navy blue hue, since the Sapphire is durable enough for everyday wear and the color is a masculine neutral. The ring is finished with a heavy wood-grain bark finish to give some contrast to the white gold. It has a substantial presence on the hand without looking too heavy, and certainly kept an element of groovy Mid- Century Modern appeal. So cool. *Note- this ring is 10k white gold- this material was often used in men’s jewelry since it is more durable.
