This modern yellow gold past-present-future ring was crafted for a client who had inherited the three Diamonds from her father. The Diamonds were very sentimental, and she wanted to find a way to wear them herself as opposed to leaving them in the outdated men’s jewelry. We were able to source this ring mounting from one of our semi-custom suppliers, and simply modified it to fit her Diamonds. The center Diamond is just under 1ct, and the outer two were around .80ct each, for a sizable 2.50ctw worth of Diamonds across the hand. The yellow gold milgrain mounting is modern, but also serves to hide some of the warm color in these heirloom Diamonds- the perfect use. Plus, she was able to trade in the old gold from the heavy men’s pieces as a credit toward the work, making it even more affordable!
