This elegant Edwardian lavalier hails from the early 20th century, when changing fashion allowed women to wear pendants that fell on a plunging neckline- how scandalous! This particular piece takes an intricate and feminine lace-like form, reminiscent of European architecture, which is then encrusted with seed pearls. Set at top and bottom are two natural cornflower blue Sapphires, with a hinged centerpiece in the middle set with a beautiful old European Cut Diamond. The faceted gems radiate and sparkle out from amongst the pearls. This is a stunning piece with a nearly 2 inch drop- wow!
