In 2016 we purchased a collection from the estate of a family that had fled the Holocaust in 1937. These items were in their family when they were living in Germany and the Netherlands, and represented some of the wealth they brought to the United States. We are honored to be able to preserve these items and pass them to future generations who will respect their history.
This 3-stone ring is crafted in yellow gold with a platinum overlay to provide a neutral background to the diamonds. The platinum top is set at a slight angle on the hand, then milgrained and engraved to create a unique look that is also designed to we worn on a daily basis. This particular piece is a great example of Edwardian style and, while not hallmarked, is likely of French or Dutch origin.
Details: Platinum over 14k yellow gold ring with a .70ct European Cut Diamond (SI2 J) and .50ctw old cut diamond accents, circa 1910.
