This beautiful teal Sapphire ring is a bit of a chameleon- it picks up shades of blue, green, and grey depending on the lighting and angle of view. Under close inspection you can actually see that the fascinating Sapphire is bi-colored with alternating bands of blue and green within the gem. After much thought, we designed a yellow gold mounting since it adds richness and makes the teal shade more prominent. The prongs are white gold, as are the bezels on the Diamonds, to make sure that there is some neutrality and durability in the settings themselves. The yellow gold shank features a concave finish that reflects the light, and the gold comes up and embraces the center Sapphire. The end result is a modern and substantial ring that could be worn on the right hand or as a beautiful Sapphire engagement ring.
Details: 14k two tone gold ring with 1.41ct oval teal Sapphire (Sri Lanka, untreated) and .10ct Diamond accents (SI GH).
