Asscher Cut Teal Sapphire Halo Engagement Ring

Green Sapphires, teal or otherwise, are quite scarce and were long overlooked kept for collectors, but that has changed over the last 20 years; they are now one of the most popular choices for alternative engagement rings. We sourced this gem from Madagascar which is the primary producer of high-quality teal Sapphires. This one is a very pretty color, showing as a teal green with subtle steely blue undertones- almost a color shifter. It was fashioned into a square emerald cut (aka asscher) which is quite unusual, so we played that up by making a square halo of Diamonds to surround the Sapphire. Just like the mysteriousness of pretty green eyes, this gem winks out at you from the mounting and has a captivating sparkle to it. The white gold mounting is substantial but finely crafted and would make a great right-hand or modern engagement ring option.
