This gorgeous bracelet was made sometime in the latter half of the 20th century in authentic Edwardian style. The piece is crafted in yellow gold topped with platinum, then detailed with old Rose Cut Diamonds and milgrain work. The center gemstone is a natural Red Spinel in an unusual sunset red color, that appears pinkish in some light and more orange in others. The square gem is set in a thin collet-style bezel on point which mimics the diamond shapes in the metal work. We took a photo of this against the skin to illustrate the beauty of the negative spaces in this bracelet.
Details: 14k yellow gold and platinum bracelet with 1.15ct Red Spinel and .03ct Rose Cut Diamonds, circa 1950s.
