Antique Moonstone & Gold Belcher Ring

The seductive shimmer of a good Moonstone must be seen in person for maximum effect. Even so, this stunning antique ring has a captivating presence in the images too. The British “belcher style” mounting holds the cabochon Moonstone in claw shaped prongs, but the entire profile of the ring is low and comfortable on the hand. Crafted in late Victorian glory, the 9k gold ring has a deeper gold look than the low karat would imply, which is a nice contrast to the blue-white sheen in the Moonstone. This ring was likely made as a gents’ pinky ring, but is certainly a unisex style that would be at home on a lady’s hand too. Currently size 7.5, complimentary sizing included.
