Product Description

Circa 1925, this beautiful bauble hails from the peak of the Art Deco period. The white gold ring is die-struck, then pierced with filigree work throughout. Every surface of the ring is further carved or milgrained around the old cut Diamonds and calibre-cut synthetic Sapphires (which are original to the ring). These larger Diamond rings were known as dinner rings since they would have been worn on the right hand at a nice meal or fancy event; this one measures over an inch long! We can imagine a flapper wearing this ring with a beautiful beaded dress, heels and gloves- but we are happy to say these can be worn and enjoyed less formally today.

Details: 18k white gold ring with .60ctw old European Cut Diamonds (SI IJ) and .30ctw calibre cut synthetic Sapphires; circa 1925.
