Estate Pear Halo Ring with Imperial Topaz & Diamonds

Some ring designs never go out of style. One of the oldest rings we sold was a Georgian Portuguese Imperial Topaz halo ring- not dissimilar from this one. Fast forward 200+ years to the 1970s, and a pocket of gem-grade Topaz was found in Ouro Preto Brazil – the same region that produced Topaz for the Portuguese 200 years earlier!- and this ring was born. Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring takes a classic approach to a halo design. The center gem is a nearly 2ct Topaz, surrounded by Diamonds which are set with outside prongs which give the ring a floral look. The Topaz is named “Imperial Topaz” since it has that deep sherry-orange color which is so coveted in the gem world. This ring has a classic elegance that transcends time, at an affordable price tag.
