Antique Old European Cut Diamond Halo-Style Engagement Ring

This antique Diamond engagement ring is unparalleled for sparkle in our collection of antique engagement rings. There’s something about the Diamonds in this ring that produce a blinding array of scintillation and fire, that are so clearly a cut above most Diamonds we see. This ring started its life as an antique stick pin to which we converted it for use as an engagement ring by adding the period-correct shank. It features a 1ct old European Cut Diamond in the center (GIA graded VS1 L color- though it faces whiter) and surrounded by a halo of 12 similarly faceted old cut Diamond accents. The center Diamond is bezel set in platinum, and the outer Diamonds are held by platinum prongs, all of which are attached to a yellow gold framework. Since all of the white Diamonds are set in white platinum, the top of the ring effectively looks like one huge Diamond- not a bad problem. This ring is super comfortable to wear and will make the next owner a very lucky lady indeed.
