In honor of the final season of Downton Abbey, we present

An Edwardian Tourmaline Bar Pin- Circa 1915

In honor of the Downton premier, we decided to highlight this original Edwardian brooch, or bar pin. All brooches are fashionable now- worn on the lapel of jackets or, as this piece is intended, worn to secure a scarf (we can see Cora or Edith pulling this one off!) This piece is especially cool as it comes in its original box, complete with Royal Warrant, proof that the jeweler who made this piece was making some of the finest jewelry of the era. It is made, signed and numbered in 18kt white gold, set with a 1.25ct teal-green tourmaline and two old European cut diamonds in a unique openwork design. Edwardian jewels are highly collectible as they combine the craftsmanship of the Victorian era with the new geometric designs and use of colored gems that flourished in the Art Deco period.

We are asking $850 for this piece of jewelry history, please contact us for details and availability.
