TrewTungsten Hard Metal is a
special type of Tungsten Carbide, the world's hardest metallic
substance. Rings made of this high tech metal will retain a polish
longer than any other metal; it measures between 8 and 9 on the Mohs
hardness scale. Sapphire; the hardest of the colored gemstones is 9
on the Mohs scale! Fine Swiss watch makers have used a similar type
of Tungsten Carbide in their wristwatches for nearly 40 years.

High Tech Process
Years of painstaking research and development were necessary to create what maybe the world's most difficult wedding ring to produce. Rough TrewTungsten ring blanks are put through a complex 30-step grinding and polishing process made possible by specially developed equipment, using only diamond abrasives. Trent West has also perfected a Patent Pending method of permanently fusing Platinum, 22K Yellow Gold and 18K Bronze Gold inlays into the centers of TrewTungsten rings.
Laser Marking and Serializing
Every TrewTungsten ring is laser hallmarked inside denoting the TrewTungsten logo, (WC) symbolizing Tungsten Carbide, a precious metal symbol for the inlaid versions (Plat, 22K and 18K) and a 6-character serial number for accurate identification. In addition, we offer a custom laser engraving service with many type style options.
