The client who designed this ring brought in the center Diamond- an heirloom 3ct old European cut- and was looking for a new mounting to show it off. Her goal was to create a more current look that was not too formal. We were fortunate to have this beautiful semi-mount in stock, so the client was able to purchase it affordably then we modified it to hold the diamond in a secure 8-prong head. This client is planning to wear her ring as a special occasion right hand ring, but this design would make an equally impressive engagement ring.
