Sphene -or Titanite- is one of our favorite exotic gems. It is more refractive than a diamond, so when the material is clean and well cut it produces a rainbow effect every time a ray of light hits the gem. Frequently we see Sphene with a yellow or brown base color, but this suite features rare green Sphenes from a new deposit in Madagascar. The client who designed this suite set them in a rose gold swirl motif, such that the neon green color pops, the stones are surrounded by sparkling Diamonds.

Details: 14k rose gold earrings feature 2.85cts of Sphene and .34cttw Diamonds (VVS EF); the 14k rose gold pendant features a 2.56ct Sphene and .28cttw Diamonds (VVS EF).
