One of the best byproducts of a custom design are the little side projects, like this Sapphire three stone ring. When we removed the diamond that had originally been in the ring for use in the other design, our client was left with an empty mounting just crying out to be set with a new gemstone. She looked through our collection of Sapphires and fell in love with this lovely gem, perfectly cut in a “roval” shape, with an intense violet-blue color. Now that the mounting is restored, polished, and set with a new center stone it is fit to be worn for another 30 years.
