This is one of the most unique natural Sapphires we have ever sold due both to the color and the precision cutting. The color is a medium purple in outdoor light, but it picks up a hint of magenta inside, so we think the closest description would be orchid. While there are other beautiful purple gems, only purple Sapphire and Spinel are durable enough for everyday wear.
