This ring features an exotic greenish-gold Chrysoberyl from Africa. Chrysoberyl is the faceted gem family of which Cats Eye and Alexandrite are members. They are little known in the jewelry world due to their rarity, but their toughness, brilliance, and intense colors make them great gems for use in rings.
