Cherry Garnet East-West Ring

This fancy semi mount was the ideal setting for this custom cut cherry garnet. John Dyer -a world renowned gem artist- knows that cherry rhodolite garnets have a tendency to be over-dark. He faceted this stone to optimize light play while bringing out the subtle orange and pink undertones in the garnet. The detailed carving on the gold mimics the details faceting on the gem and they combine in a gorgeous ring.
